After washing, tilt your head forward and lay the Silverthread flat against the back of your head with the open end at your neck. Gather your hair into the wrap, twist the fabric, then flip it forward so the loop rests at the top of your head. Tuck the button through the loop to hold it in place. The microfiber draws moisture out from there — no rubbing, no friction, just absorption. Leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes or as long as you like. When you take it off, hang it on a hook or bar. The lightweight microfiber air-dries quickly and is ready for your next wash.

Machine wash cold and tumble dry low. The silver ions are woven into the microfiber itself rather than applied as a surface coating, so the antibacterial protection stays intact through regular washing and doesn't degrade over time. Skip the fabric softener — it coats the fibers gradually and reduces how well the wrap absorbs. Between washes, hang it to air-dry and the silver ions keep it fresh on their own. When it does go through the machine, it comes out performing the same way it did on day one.

They are too large for me. I have a small head and short hair. I gave one to my daughter. She loved. It's the first head wrap that fits her larger head and her very thick hair. I gave her the other one.

Soft and fluffy!! The stretchy tab that holds the towel in place is simple and yet genius by design as it holds the towel snugly in place; other hair towels unravel and slip. I infer from the nomenclature: 'silverthread hair wrap,' that there might only be the one color. Do wish it was available in other colors. Love it, thank you!!
